Dental care for children

All children and teenagers under 18 years of age with a fixed address in the municipality qualify for free dental prevention and treatment. 

In Guldborgsund Municipality dental care is organized so that children are automatically summoned to attend the dentist when they are 3 years old.
School children from 0 - 7 class are summoned through the school to dental examinations of the class at the clinic, and the dental care arranges any necessary transport for the class and the teacher.  If further visits to the clinic are required or if children are older than the age corresponding to 6th class, it is the responsibility of the child’s parents to bring their child to the clinic.
